Course details

This flagship programme has been developed to meet the need of creative people who wish to enter the floristry design and decoration industry, or explore floristry in event design, interior design and wedding contexts. The aim of the programme is to encourage and nurture design and innovation which meets the needs of contemporary employers and the informed client.

Work-related learning enhances and expands the vocational experience, ensuring that this qualification reflects the flexibility and breadth of knowledge required within the sector. The programme provides practical, vocational and academic study through exciting and challenging live design projects and competition work. Students who successfully complete the Foundation Degree Design are guaranteed a place on the BA Honours Design Final Year programme.

Higher Education Open Days for 2012/2013

Higher Education Open Days are to be held on the dates below.  They commence at 11.00am on Fridays and Saturdays.  The programme for the event is as follows:
10.30 am onwards - Refreshments
11.00 am - Welcome presentation
11.30 am - Course specific information
12.30 pm - College tour (including accommodation)
1.30 pm - Any questions
2.00 pm - Depart
