It’s that festive time of the year again and Bishop Burton College sponsored the decoration of two trees at the Beverley Minster. The Design and Floristry Design students had the task of planning the theme of the trees and constructing the decorations by hand to show off their creativity and what can be achieved by a little imagination. The Foundation Degree Floristry students in year 1 used this project as part of their Personal Development Planning Module. They meticulously planned the whole project from start to finish with the theme of pink hearts and anthuriums, using a range of floristry materials to add as much detail and interest to the tree.
Welcome to floristry at Bishiop Burton College - Foundation Degree Floristry now available for 2013 full time and part time delivery options. This blog will introduce you to some of the work completed on the course including a range of subject areas such as Photography Techniques, Visual Presentation, Landscaping and Sculptural Studies, Live Projects and Competition work.
