Course details

This flagship programme has been developed to meet the need of creative people who wish to enter the floristry design and decoration industry, or explore floristry in event design, interior design and wedding contexts. The aim of the programme is to encourage and nurture design and innovation which meets the needs of contemporary employers and the informed client.

Work-related learning enhances and expands the vocational experience, ensuring that this qualification reflects the flexibility and breadth of knowledge required within the sector. The programme provides practical, vocational and academic study through exciting and challenging live design projects and competition work. Students who successfully complete the Foundation Degree Design are guaranteed a place on the BA Honours Design Final Year programme.

Level 5 Floristry work



Theresa O'Grady - decorative wire mesh used to
thread the flowers through to decorate the wax base.

Decorative Bowl made form using hand made chicken mesh as the base with reeds solted through to give a transparent finish - simply decorated with flowers.
